In this film, Rolls-Royce reveals to us the unique artwork created by Based Upon, a London-based art studio – which was inspired by the motion of silk in water – that can be displayed across the fascia of the New Rolls-Royce Phantom, providing an unprecedented opportunity to display art within a motor car. Understanding that buyers of the marque’s cars are increasingly collectors of fine and contemporary art, the Rolls-Royce Design Team came up with the idea to create a place within the vehicle in which customers can commission and curate art – in a space aptly named “The Gallery.”
