Swarovski Waterschool and one man’s search for inspiration along the Yangtze River
2.44
The Yangtze in China is the third longest river in the world. Home to 480 million people, it supports one third of the Chinese population. In 2008, Swarovski Waterschool China was launched with the aim of helping local people learn live in harmony with nature and learn how to manage their water reserves sustainably. It now has 59 schools along the 6300 km of the “Long River.” In this film, like his famous painter grandfather Shi Lu, who roamed the Yellow River in the 60s, Shi Jia explores the Yangtze in search of inspiration for his work.
