Spotlight on Africa – how a life-changing training programme in rural Uganda is transforming communities
Film-maker and photographer Philip Lee Harvey most usually works for luxury brands and resorts, but when asked by a charity based in his home town to donate his time to telling the stories of their amazing work in Africa, he jumped at the chance. From building maternity centres, schools and clinics, to training community health promotors and tailors, the work of Harpenden Spotlight on Africa (HSoA) is changing lives in a very positive way. In this film, we meet Ruth, a young lady from rural Uganda whose life has been changed by being trained as a Community Health Promoter through HSoA.
