Damson Idris – lead star of the F1 movie – recreates one of the film’s key stunts at Goodwood

As part of a major moment celebrating IWC Schaffhausen as official watch partner of the F1 movie’s fictional “APXGP” team, Damson Idris – the lead star of the film – returns to the track at Goodwood for a live stunt featuring the actual Mercedes GT he drives in the movie. The stunt was designed to mirror a key sequence from the film, providing an early look at just how fast paced and intense the racing in the movie really is. Stunt driver Eliott Cole was behind the wheel of the APXGP car, while Idris — who performs much of his own driving in the movie — joined him to recreate this iconic moment.
