In this film made in conjunction with LOUIS XIII, the celebrated film director talks about the artistry of movie-making and why the work of The Film Foundation is so crucial in protecting the cinematic heritage for future generations. The Film Foundation’s World Cinema Project is focussed on preserving, restoring, and distributing neglected films from around the globe. To date, 43 films from 25 countries have been restored, preserved and exhibited for a global audience.
