The Awasi Foundation has properties located in three of South America’s most unique environments. The Foundation is committed to protecting their natural and cultural heritage through the conservation of their ecosystems, the reintroduction of native species and the implementation of concrete social initiatives. In this film, the Awasi Foundation introduces us to Juan Pablo Culasso, who was born blind. He taught himself how to identify birds by listening to their song. He has become one of the world’s most respected bird experts; using just his ears, not his eyes. For more information, go to www.awasi.org.
