The Macallan unveils its new expression, Distil Your World New York, in collaboration with the Roca Brothers
The Macallan has released Distil Your World New York which, as this film reveals to us, is an exceptional single malt whisky that captures the essence of one of the most dynamic and iconic cities in the world. Crafted by The Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan in collaboration with the Roca brothers – owners of El Celler de Can Roca, twice named Best Restaurant in the World – Distil Your World New York celebrates the city as a dynamic metropolis of art, creativity and visionary talent. It also marks the second release in a series of limited edition single malt whiskies and gastronomic creations exploring leading locations around the globe, which began in 2020 with Distil Your World London.
Distil Your World New York builds on the subtle apple notes already characteristic of The Macallan – a fitting flavour for a city nicknamed the Big Apple – with tastes that are synonymous with this North American melting pot – such as the sweetness of classic American candy, with nods to peanut and chocolate, and uplifting citrus representing the skyscrapers that dominate New York’s skyline.
