This film from The Macallan introduces you to The Harmony Collection: Rich Cacao Whisky, created in collaboration with three star Michelin chef Jordi Roca and master chocolatier Damian Allsop. Bringing the worlds of chocolate and whisky to life, this is the first limited edition whisky in an innovative new series of single malts that marks the Scotch whisky brand’s journey towards completely sustainable packaging.
Drawing inspiration from the knowledge and creativity of Jordi and Damian, the film follows Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan as she searches the sherry-seasoned oak casks maturing at The Macallan Estate to identify rare, indulgent chocolate notes. As we find out, the resulting Rich Cacao whisky is crafted from a combination of European and American sherry-seasoned casks to produce a deep, dark chocolate profile, which pairs perfectly with the richest chocolate for a luxurious sensorial experience.
